John and Habona Kisamwa
John and Habona Kisamwa have been missionaries with YWAM for the last twenty-five years. They have led YWAM
bases in Kenya, were national directors for YWAM Kenya, regional directors for YWAM Kenya, and for the last few years, served as field directors for YWAM of Africa.
Two years ago they pioneered Ray of Hope Ministry to focus on serving children, and churches on the Kenyan coast. Both have had experiences in cross cultural mission, visited all the continents of the world preaching and teaching the Word of God. They have two boys Joshua 21 years and Jonathan 19 years old. They are based at Ray of Hope Village.
Michael and Cicelia Tesh
Michael is from Winston-Salem in North Carolina. He joined Ray of Hope four years ago. He met Cecilia two years ago and they were married in July, 06 at the Ray of Hope Village. Both are involved with the children on a daily basis and lead the Bible Studies in the evenings for the kids. Cecilia is also a teacher at the pre-school.
James Abio Mahaka
James was born and raised in Tana River, Kenya. He received his training with National Youth Service before working for various companies in Kenya. He also did a DTS at YWAM Athi River in 2005 and joined Ray of Hope in 2006. His role is to maintain the daily operations of Ray of Hope Village. He loves music, drama, and evangelism.
Peninah Galgalo
She grew up in lower Tana River and was married to Mr. Guyo who was a teacher. They had two boys Keith and Maro. He passed away several years ago. Peninah joined Ray of Hope in 2006. Her role is teaching in the pre-school and overseeing hospitality. She also is a part of the Ray of Hope dance team.
Hiribae Maro
He grew up in a Muslim home in the Tana River district. He became a Christian through many dreams where Jesus appeared to him. He moved to Athi River where he lived with John and Habona and worked for three years. He did a DTS at YWAM, Athi River, and worked for YWAM for two years after his DTS. He joined the Ray of Hope family in 2006. He is based in Mikameni where he leads our project to reach several villages with the gospel.
Amy Cigala
Amy is joining the Ray of Hope family in June 2007. She was born in New Jersey, but has lived the past 8 years in Virginia. She is a high school teacher, and will be leaving her job this summer to join the Ray of Hope family. She will be helping with administration at Ray of Hope Village and also working with the children.
Ronnie and Elizabeth
Ronnie is the cook for Ray of Hope Village. Elizabeth teaches in the Pre-school.

Brian King
Brian is the USA representative for Ray of Hope. He was staff with Youth With A Mission for 21 years in Europe, USA and Kenya. His functions include; Church liaisons and networking, web site, preparing outreach teams, debriefing outreach teams, maintaining ministry contacts and fund raising.
